World Poker Finally In
Africa
The All Africa Poker Tournament
was recently held at Piggs Peak Hotel and Casino. The R3,
5million pot attracted 113 players and the final table was
called after 20 hours of play.
The World Poker Tour has
finally come to the African continent. It was announced
yesterday that Chillipoker.com will be bringing the most
highly anticipated and prestigious events to the Casino
de Marrakech in Morocco.
iPoker and Chillipoker.com
have signed an exclusive three year deal to bring Poker
to Africa.
It is expected that iPoker players will be able to begin
their online qualifying rounds from April.
Big advertising spend is
also expected, in the online sector, televised broadcasts
and satellite tournaments on the iPoker network, such as
with the soon to be launched African Palace poker website.
