Casino for Windhoek’s
Freedom Plaza
Windhoek, the capital of
Namibia, will soon be home to a new casino which will form
part of the city’s new Freedom Plaza. To be developed
by Madison Property Fund Managers, the plaza will costs
an estimated R2 billion.
Construction of the new casino, African Pride Eliakim Namundiebo
Plaza Hotel, will begin in February and will incorporate
a 125 key hotel. The casino will be located on the lower
ground level and is being designed as a ‘cross border
excursion highlight’ for South Africans.
Other niche features of
the hotel and casino precinct are a rooftop pool, garden
terrace, traveler’s lounge and cigar rooms!
