It appears as though the
inauguration of President Elect Barrack Obama has led to
a slew of bets in Europe. American citizens were restricted
from taking up bets online within the States but have gone
to various European sites in order to wager on what colour
tie Obama will be wearing and what the first sentence of
his inauguration speech will be – the phrase ‘Change
has come’ was listed at 8 to 1 odds.
Bets have even been placed on the name that the Obamas will
choose for the first puppy – George and Lincoln have
been listed as options!
